A Rose By Any Other Name
Blackwater stresses that their recent name change is part of a reorganization of the umbrella company's priorities--a shift from direct armed engagement to training. The new conglomerate, Xe (zee) may have a new name, but must carry with it the burden of atrocity, stigma of being an accomplice to a misguided invasion and draconian methodology that (hopefully) lives in the history books.

A pile of shit by any other name will still stick to your foot just as disappointingly. Our mercenary force will be called something else, what a completely original idea on their part. This of course is similar to the business tactics of many corporations that run their businesses (and their names) into the ground with astounding enthusiasm, and bitter consequences. Wachovia is an interesting example, most people in this area use that bank (if they are not using Commerce or Bank of America). Wachovia is the perfumed pile that once was First Union. Baiting and switching in this sense is an American past-time. If only our modern generations could share the mind-set of John Proctor who knew that he only had one name to live with.
